The fees are paid only to Onassis Cardiac Surgery Center in accordance with the contract that exists between your Insurance Agency and the hospital.
If you are insured by EOPPY or another public health fund, you should know that you are covered for the following:
- Laboratory tests (except special examination and some blood tests and molecular biology and immunology tests)
- Hemodynamic examinations
- Hemodynamic interventions
- Medical fees (excluding Consulting Doctors)
However, there are some tests that are not covered such as telemetry, the late potentials, the recall test, CT heart CT angiographies, etc.
If you upgrade to a double room, single room or suite, which is not stipulated in the contract with the insurer, you must know that you will be additionally charged both for medical expenses and for exams. The overall cost depends on the upgrade selected.
If you are paying out of pocket, you can receive from the Admissions Office relevant information about the total amount of money you will pay, depending on the type and the time of your hospitalization.
In both cases, you should consult the Admissions Department on how to pay for your bill. Payments will only be made to OCSC Admissions Office, where you will also get your receipt.
Therefore, besides OCSC, you do not owe any money to anyone else within or outside of the hospital and nobody is authorized to collect money from you and your family.
If an employee or even a non-employee asks for money or a return in kind in order to mediate on your behalf in terms of being admitted and/or of ensuring priority admission and/or of serving you in any other direct or indirect way, you are being deceived. In this case, please report it to us immediately, so we may act accordingly.
